Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

One more week and Christmas will be here.  Hard to believe another year is almost gone.  This may be my last post before the New Year so I want to wish everyone a Blessed Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  I’m looking forward to what God has for us in the coming year.

Last week and this week I continued to doing some minor maintenance but most of my time has been spent building more shoe racks. Yesterday I built the last one for a total of 52. The men here really like them and it makes their rooms look a lot neater.

Marge has still been working in the office helping them get ready for Christmas.  This Friday evening is the Christmas party for the guys here at Teen Challenge.  Sounds like it’s going to be a interesting time.  Hopefully I’ll be able to get some pictures to post.

Next week will be a busy week as it will be a shortened. Sunday after church we are having a Christmas pot luck dinner. While here we have been attending Dexter Assembly which is about 15 mile from here.

People have been very friendly and welcoming.

Monday we are going to an open house at the home of one of the women that works in the office. Christmas Day we will have Christmas dinner with the guys.

This coming week will be our last week here.  We are staying through Sunday for Family Day when parents and families of the men come and visit and it is also graduations day for some of the guys.  While here we have got to know some of the men so we want to see them graduate.

Right now we plan to leave here Monday morning Dec. 29 and head to Florida.

Again pray for us as we travel.
