Brandenburg Third week

After two of the couples left last weekend and headed for home we started our last week with only three couples. the first couple of day I worked on the trim work in the two restrooms.

The rest of the crew spent their time painting doors, trim, and other miscellaneous areas that needed a finishing touch.  Wednesday we started cleaning up the gym floor to put down the tile.  Took a lot of scraping. sweeping, and vacuuming  to clean it up.  Thursday we started putting down tile.

There is to be a contrasting 7′ gray border all around the  gym. We decided to put down glue on a section of the border and after lunch it had dried enough so we could start putting down a section of the the border.brandenburg12

Friday evening we cleaned up our tools and headed back to the campground to prepare to move out Saturday morning. Friday during the day it had started to rain and by evening it was windy and cold.

Saturday morning we all went our various way.  We were the last to leave as we were only going about 60 mile to Camp Crestwood in Crestwood, Ky.

This morning we went to church at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville.  This is one of the largest churches in the US.  They have three services every weekend and run over 20,000 in attendance. The facilities are amazing.  If in the area it’s worth the effort to attend at least once.

Tomorrow starts another week and another opportunity to minister in a different way.  Not sure what we will be doing but from just walking around the camp yesterday and today it would appear that it will be just some general maintenance. It will be a welcome change from the past three week.

Please continue to pray for us. We are still recovering from the cold which we’ve had for a couple of week.

Until next time. God Bless
